Blood Bowl Trailer

After watching the latest trailer for Blood Bowl I was reminded of a game I played on the Commodore CD32. Described as being the world’s first 32Bit games console (although it wasn’t) it was released over a year before the Sony Playstation but did not sell anywhere near as many units. It was on the CD32 I remember playing Brutal Sports Football, an interesting mix of American Football, ultra violence and gore. Blood Bowl looks like a spiritual sequel Brutal Sports Football which can’t be a bad thing, based on the Warhammer games you can create teams made up of Orcs, Elves, Humans, Dwarfs and many more fantasy creatures and go to battle in the goriest Lord of the Rings esque version of American Football you’ve ever seen. The Blood Bowl release date is a vague Q2 2009 and is coming out on the Xbox 360, PC, DS and PSP.
