GTA IV sales figures

GTA IV sales figures have topped 500 million USD in its first week on sale! To put that in perspective Halo 3 topped 300 million USD in its first week on sale last year which makes GTA 4 the highest earning game debut ever! It’s breaking so many records someone better call Norris McWhirter – or at least his successor.

Well if the marketing for the game cost the rumored $400 million dollars, they’ve not made much money yet. I suppose over the long term they will though.
