Peer-to-peer bans
February 19th, 2008The government is proposing to bring in new legislation to stop people downloading illegal content over peer-to-peer networks. People suspected of downloading movies, music and software illegally may be warned by their ISP then cut off if they offend again.
Apparently over six million people download content illegally so I guess that’s a lot of people about to be warned – if the legislation is ever passed.
