Phil Harrison joins Infogrames
Ex-Sony Guru Phil Harrison joins Infogrames - parent company of Atari! Although there were rumours flying all over the internet, we’re still shocked to hear it confirmed that Phil Harrison has left the dizzy heights of Sony and headed to Infrograms.
In the official press statement Phil says “This is the perfect time to join Infogrames and help shape the future of Atari – one of the industry’s legendary brands. As the game business moves rapidly online I believe we have an outstanding opportunity to create amazing network game and community experiences for players the world over”.
It sounds like he and his French buddies at Infogrames have some rather interesting ideas regarding online play for us to look forward to in the future. The most surprising thing we find in all of this, is that Atari’s latest console game is Jenga for the Wii, not quite what we call an online communal experience for players all over the world that one Phil?

So nearly two months since he left Sony, I’ve not heard anything juicy about his online plans with Atari - me thinks he made an error leaving.
