The hit Need for Speed Shift returns in 2011 with a cool new name - Shift 2 Unleashed. We’ve yet to see the game in person but the word on the street is that Shift 2 looks every bit as good as Gran Turismo 5 but has all the thrills and spills of the Need For Speed games.
If like me you wanted to love GT5 but just found it so slow paced and boring, Shift 2 looks to deliver a cracking no holed barred racing experience both online and offline, if you want to get the best out of the game then look to get the limited edition version that features the following extra goodies:
- 3 Additional Cars – the Nissan Silvia spec.R Aero (S15), Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV, and Lamborghini Murcielago LP640.
- 40 Additional Career Events – Race in Single-Type events with all racers in the same car, battle in classic and modern versions of the same car in Old vs. New events, and engage in Manufacturer Showdowns with racers behind the wheel of different car makes and models.
The Shift 2 Unleashed release date is March 29th in the US and April 1st in Europe.
