Sonic and the Black Knight release date

Sega of Europe has sent some gorgeous looking screenshots of the upcoming new Sonic game for Wii. Sonic and The Secret Rings was a sad letdown for Sonic fans who just want some old school 2D action. Will the fact that our blue friend now carries a sword to deal out punishment to his enemies appease the baying mob at Sega’s door? Well we don’t know. All we know is that the graphics are looking really great and Sega are determined to push the Wii to melting point. As far as we’re concerned it’s got to be worth a look at the game just for that alone. The Sonic and The Black Knight release date is March 2009.
