Sony it seems, are having one of those weeks. First they find out that the Wii still outsold the PS3 by nearly 60% in June PS3 sales figures, the predicted Metal Gear Solid 4 sales rush was still not enough to take down Nintendo. Then Sony hear that the highly anticipated 2.40 firmware has been locking up consoles and promptly have to remove the download and go back to work on a fix. Lastly online security vendor Sophos discovered someone has hacked into two of Sony’s websites and added some naughty scripting. Sophos recommend that no one goes near the SingStar Pop and God of War pages until Sony address the problem.
