Videogame BAFTA 2009 results
March 13th, 2009The 2009 Video Game BAFTAS have been dished out and it’s caused a bit of a stir. GTA IV didn’t get anything, Call of Duty 4 won best gameplay, story and character and player’s choice and Dead Space won in both sound categories.
Little Big Planet got best artistic achievement, Race Driver: GRID got best sports title and Left 4 Dead got the best multiplayer game BAFTA.
What’s caused most of a stir though is Steven Spielberg’s Boom BLOXGuitar Hero and the like and Super Mario Galaxy winning best game. Some think BAFTA were playing it safe by staying away from violence. Try telling that to all those poor Goombas Mario jumps on all the time.
