Xbox 360 Kinect Starter Bundle

We’re very interested to see how well the Xbox Kinect succeeds on the flagship first person shooter console. Microsoft Kinect differs greatly from the Sony and Nintendo’s offerings because there is no controller. Instead of holding a device and pressing buttons, your body becomes the controller and two cameras and a microphone interpret your movement to control the game. So far it appears that core Xbox 360 owners will be a little disappointed by the lack of mature games on offer but Microsoft are promising hard-core games along the line.

Whether Microsoft will convince Xbox 360 owners to buy into motion control is anyone’s guess. What we do know is that they’re trying very hard with good looking previews at E3 and a low cost Xbox 360 Kinect Starter Bundle. It’s basic and still on the expensive side but in the package you’ll get the Kinect Motion Sensing Device and the Kinect Adventures game which features around 20 activities including River Rafting and Mine Cart Racing.
