7 out of 10?, more like 2 out of 10.

Repetitive gameplay, no sense of exploration, combat marred with quicktime events that break the gameflow, lack of interesting enemies, insipid redundant dialogue... I could go on an on about all the problems with this game but the bottom line is this:

IT ISN'T ANY FUN.

- You never get any sort of satisfaction from exploring the world
(it plays like a rhythm game and it feels like you're suggesting to the prince where to go and he does everything automatically)

- You never get any satisfaction from beating enemies (they run away in cut scenes when they are about to die)

- You never get any satisfaction from completing areas because each one is basically the sam, gets played the same and gets completed the same way. Interesting once, but NOT 20 times.

- The prince is an unlikeable. His dialogue is poorly scripted. Instead of being witty, he comes off as a jerk. And that's who you get to play.

The only redeeming things in this mess of a game is the characterization of Elika and the art direction. That's it.

Tomb Raider anniversary has better areas and better acrobatic jumps. Prince of persia has better maps, better combat , better gameplay.

Why would anyone spend a single dime for this terrible game? Because they don't know any better?

---

This game will be a commercial flop and you're out of touch with the majority of people playing games if you consider this to be a 7 out of 10.
