Tagged with: Virtua Tennis 4 has been announced for PlayStation 3 and it’s going to be fully compatible with PlayStation Move and in 3D! It seems everyone is jumping on Nintendo’s motion-sensing bandwagon and trying to do it better. Sega say the fourth game in the series isn’t just about hitting the ball but also about the speed of connection, angle of the racquet and spin applied to the ball with each shot. The controller will be tracked precisely hopefully meaning a more immersive experience for the player. I’m still not sure if people want to jump around the living room and risk knocking the vase with their Grandma’s ashes off the mantelpiece – personally I’d rather still chill on the sofa with a classic controller and a beer but maybe that’s just me. Anyway, check out these screenshots and if you like the look of it you can play the game some time in 2011.
