Alan Smith joins FIFA 12

Alan Smith has just been announced by EA as the new person to commentate alongside Martin Tyler on FIFA 12. Since Andy Gray’s departure from Sky Sports earlier in the year, speculation has been high about who would take over as EA surely couldn’t have continued with Andy Gray.

Senior Producer of FIFA 12 has this to say: “Alan will bring a fresh, new perspective and insight to FIFA 12, working alongside the trusted and well-known voice of Martin Tyler. As one of the top-tier broadcasters on the UK football scene, he brings enormous knowledge and expert analysis to the game so that we can deliver the most authentic FIFA experience this year.”

Alan has probably been working hard recording line after line of dialogue for the game and may be worried if fans of the game will like his voice but here at Gamesweasel, we think he’ll ‘Smash It’.
